At Tallebudgera Surf Club, we firmly believe in mateship. Joining our club, is like joining an extended family. Be it a competitive, patrol or youth membership we’ve got many options just right for you.
Being a member of Tallebudgera Surf Club gives you the opportunity to join a community of friends, family, and dedication to beach safety. Being a member means we lean on you to attend patrols to keep the local community safe on the beach. It also gives you the opportunity to learn a new sport, meet new friends and socialise at many of our annual events.
HOW TO JOIN
The first step to becoming a volunteer lifesaver at Tallebudgera Surf Life Saving Club is to obtain a Bronze Medallion Award. The course is available to anyone from 14 years of age and runs for approximately 8 weeks every Sunday from 7:30am – 11am. Training comprises of practical training on the beach and theory.

Once you have gained your Bronze Medallion you will be added to our patrol roster and expected to perform rostered volunteer beach patrols at Tallebudgera throughout each season (approximately one 4.5 hour patrol per month on a Saturday or Sunday).
If you would then like to become a competitor, you can join training sessions held by the relevant sport coach.
